Little Doctor School Summer Camp

Teen Medical Summer Camp

Camp participants will explore and role-play the key responsibilities of a doctor and how to administer first aid in emergency situations. These future doctors will learn about lung disease, how to perform CPR / Heimlich maneuver, explore broken bones, snake bites, and much more!

Sports Medicine and Nutrition Summer Camp

During this camp, students will explore the fields of Nutrition and Sports Medicine!

In the morning sessions, kids will learn about healthy eating habits, the food pyramid, and global foods. They’ll also create tasty recipes and snack combos!

In the afternoon sessions, students will explore the roles of an athletic trainer and orthopedic surgeon and learn how to diagnose and treat common sports injuries.

Wilderness Medicine Camp

Participants will role-play emergency situations in the wild and learn how to prepare for natural disasters. They’ll explore snake bites, hypothermia, tourniquets, poisonous plants, edible plants, distress signals, forest fires, tornadoes, mosquito bites, and more!

Little Veterinarian School Summer Camp

After adopting of a pet toy, participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and learn how to care for a dog and/or a cat. These future vets will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, suture lacerations, and more!

Little Equine School Summer Camp

After adopting and naming their horse, students will learn practical information including a brief overview of horses (breeds, categories, names), the ideal horse farm, and more! Students will learn about anatomy, maintaining a healthy horse, nutrition, preparing horses to ride, etc.
